We started the first day with a short presentation of the city and the school by the principal Pep Cortada and the coordinator of the project in Girona - Isa Pont. A guided tour let the partners know the students, the target and the vocational ones as well. In the afternoon it was time to revise the project: the objectives, the final products, tasks distribution.

We had a guided tour in the Dalí Museum in Figueres to relate Dalí’s Artwork to Science.
The Dalí Theatre and Museum is a museum of the artist Salvador Dalí in his home town of Figueres, in Catalonia, Spain. Dalí is buried there in a crypt below the stage The Dalí Theatre and Museum holds the largest collection of major works by Dalí in a single location. In addition to Dalí paintings from all decades of his career, there are Dalí sculptures, three-dimensional collages, mechanical devices, and other curiosities from Dalí's imagination. A highlight is a three-dimensional anamorphic living-room installation with custom furniture that looks like the face of Mae West when viewed from a certain spot. |
In the afternoon all the teachers of the team worked to accomplish the 3rd objective of the project which is to develop intercultural competences and research, digital and communication skills through ICT tools; we planned how to work in cooperative and collaborative teams at classroom and also virtually through Twinspace using ICT tools.
